| Processing Information How is hay harvested, and why is some so much better than others??? A field of hay can be grown to perfection, but it can easily be degraded by inattentive harvesting procedures. At Brier-Lee Custom Hay, we go the extra mile to harvest hay the right way, so you and your animals will be thrilled with every load. We start with the right equipment for the job, and well-trained, well-supervised people doing the work. We limit the amount we harvest each day, so that we can process the hay during the optimal conditions found only in the early morning hours. We check the hay at least once/day to decide when to rake or bale, rather than go on a set schedule that may or may not fit the particular field or weather patterns. All of this extra attention allows us to proudly say "We Harvest What We Sell!". |
